The design team at Ultimate GG crafted a new vision for the Liga Stavok brand within the esports realm, developing a comprehensive brand book for the client.

ABOUT

Ultimate GG design studio tailored the Liga Stavok company’s identity to fit the esports sector. Our team devised a full-fledged brand book that merges the recognizability of the main brand with the innovative ideas of contemporary media trends.

Besides the brand book, we created key materials for social networks, concept art for merch, and apparel designs for esports athletes. This brand book formed the foundation of all media materials for the L1GA Team esports squad, competing in the Dota 2 pro scene.

Nowadays, everyone wants content on the fly, like a quick snack. Even in esports, everything is brief, to the point, and on target. I think, in this project, we should focus on conciseness!

Esports athletes and gamers incorporate various numbers into their nicknames, turning it into a kind of tradition. We embraced this idea and reworked the Liga Stavok naming to L1GA STAVOK – a companion that fits perfectly into the gamer's lifestyle.

For the redesign of the Ultimate GG logo, we chose to focus on digitization: a more "digital" green color and replacing "И" with "1".
The second direction was an association with esports: the gates turned into square brackets, and to the brand name, we added its short version [L1].

As examples of the new identity utilization, Ultimate GG designers developed digital banners, styled in the new brand aesthetic.

How the brand's new identity could look in a real studio setting: various brand name inscriptions demonstrate wonderful harmony with the design and the overall decoration of the studio. They not only fit into the visual style and atmosphere
of the space but also highlight its uniqueness and conceptual integrity.

Motion Design

For the motion design of Liga Stavok, we took the updated logo and transformed it into a dynamic visual filled with gaming nostalgia. The logo smoothly transitions into familiar old-school games. This captivating design not only pays homage to pop culture but also emphasizes the playful spirit of the brand.

We managed to keep everything minimalist, close to the brand, recognizable, and vivid. Focusing on the short version of the naming, L1, worked well as the new style received an active response from the community.
